Residents didn’t flee from EMCO in Sepang, Selangor

Residents of Selangor's Medan 88 Bandar Baru Salak Tinggi did not escape the Enhanced MCO there as initially believed.

Police say many of them were away for work and were unaware the area was put under an EMCO.

As such, they were afraid to enter the area after seeing barbed wires installed around the area.

Meanwhile, 13 out of the missing 400 residents have already returned to their homes.

Three people allowed in vehicles

Three passengers will now be allowed to ride together in a vehicle in areas under the Conditional MCO.

Defence Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob says the new rule also applies to taxis and e-hailing vehicles as well.
