Health DG: 4 new Covid-19 clusters reported in the country

Four new Covid-19 clusters have been detected in the country - three in Sabah and one in Selangor.

One of the clusters, dubbed the Monsoon cluster, in the Petaling district of Selangor was traced to a symptomatic individual.

This as we reported 1,075 new infections yesterday, along with 11 deaths.

Penang wants the government to consider imposing a conditional MCO only on targeted localities just days before the scheduled CMCO is set to end on Sunday.

The state government will bring up this proposal at the special NSC meeting today, as the number of Covid-19 cases are still high in the state.
