Negeri Sembilan records today's highest COVID-19 tally

1,600 new COVID-19 cases were reported today.

Negeri Sembilan recorded the highest tally with 541 infections, followed by 426 in Selangor and Sabah 248.

Meanwhile two more people have died due to the virus, raising the death toll to 384.

EMCO at Seremban Prison extended

The Enhanced MCO at Kampung Sabah Baru in Lahad Datu, Sabah has been lifted today.

Meanwhile, the Defence Minister says the EMCO enforced at the Seremban Prison in Negeri Sembilan will not end today as scheduled.

It will be extended from midnight tonight for another two weeks.

Kelantan worried over potential spike in COVID-19 cases

There have been concerns that there could be a rise in COVID-19 infections now that inter-district and interstate travel is allowed except in areas under an Enhanced MCO.

The Kelantan government is worried travellers returning to their hometowns in the state will trigger an outbreak.

As such, those planning to travel to Kelantan have been advised to enter the state after its coronavirus situation improves.
