Some 150,000 pupils to receive online learning devices

Some 150,000 eligible pupils from 500 schools nationwide will receive suitable devices to enable them to participate in online learning sessions.
The Education Ministry says it is currently detailing the criteria of pupils and schools that would receive the devices through a pilot programme.
Klang Valley has surpassed Sabah’s Covid-19 infections with over 37,000 cumulative cases.
The Health Ministry says Selangor is still reporting high daily figures, with 1,014 cases yesterday, followed by KL with 504.
Malaysia reported 2,062 Covid-19 infections yesterday.
Christmas activities at non-Muslim houses of worship are allowed in the Federal Territories based on Covid-19 SOPs.
KL authorities say this includes limiting the number of attendees depending on the size of the premises.
