No mass gatherings allowed to usher in 2021

All gatherings in public spaces to usher in 2021 are banned this year!

The Senior Minister for Security says such gatherings are still under the blacklist of activities based on the current SOPs.

But, Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob says it is acceptable for those planning to celebrate the occasion with family at home.

All districts in Selangor, Putrajaya and KL are now red zones.

Selangor has the highest number of active cases with nearly 8,200 Covid-19 infections, with most of it in Klang.

This as the conditional MCO for all districts in Selangor and KL was extended until January 14th.

1,594 new Covid-19 cases were reported yesterday, with Selangor logging the most number of cases with 697 infections, followed by 194 in KL.

Meanwhile, the death toll has risen to 455 after 3 more people died due to the virus.
