JPJ: Replacement of documents free for flood victims
Jan 08, 2021
Flood victims, whose JPJ documents such as motor vehicle licence, driving licence or vehicle ownership certificate, have been swept away or destroyed by flood waters, can have them replaced for free until April 15th
However, the licence holders themselves must bring along the damaged documents in order to obtain the replacement copy, while for documents that are destroyed or lost, the owners must make a police report first to get a replacement copy.
Consumers can now redeem the government’s RM200 rebate to purchase energy efficient products by bringing their latest electricity bill to make a physical purchase at selected electrical shops or supermarkets.
However, the rebate is for the purchase of locally made 4-star or 5-star energy efficient refrigerators and air conditioners, or those manufactured and certified by Sirim or its equivalent in Malaysia
Meanwhile, you can also obtain the rebate, or apply for it by making an online purchase through a recognised e-commerce platform.
