Weight of Chinese school pupils' school bags of concern

The Education Ministry is concerned about the weight of school bags that Chinese school pupils have to carry everyday.
It says based on a study, the average weight of bags carried by pupils in these schools is around 6 to 10 kilos, with books accounting for two-thirds of this weight.
According to The Star, the ministry is looking at ways to reduce the burden on pupils, such as providing lockers in schools, or using e-books.
