The parents of the 3-year-old girl who fell from an escalator in Penang can be charged in court under the Child Act, if there was any element of negligence in the incident.
The Women, Family and Community Development Ministry says the Welfare Dept is waiting for a full report from police, before deciding on the next course of action.
