Govt to consider use of chemical castrations on convicted paedophiles
Oct 20, 2016
The govt will consider the use of chemical castrations on convicted paedophiles in Malaysia.
The Women, Family and Community Development Ministry told the Dewan Rakyat, it's open to any such suggestions, to help deal with sexual offences.
This, after Indonesia approved the use of chemical castration against child sex offenders, following the brutal rape and murder of a 14-year-old girl in Sumatra in April.
