Selangor coastal residents warned of high tide

Selangor has issued a high tide warning for coastal residents in the districts of Klang, Kuala Langat, Sepang, Kuala Selangor and Sabak Bernam.

The state govt says, unusual high tide is forecast to begin from Monday until next Friday, with sea water levels expected to reach up to 5.6 metres

Authorities and state government agencies have been ordered to prepare for possible floods, which can occur if the phenomenon coincides with heavy rain and strong wind.
