Collision Collision !

2 container vessels collided off Pasir Gudang, Johor late last night. 

According to the state govt, one of the cargo ships suffered a power failure, causing it to hit the side of the other vessel, spilling some 300 tonnes of oil into the sea. 

The Johor Port Authority has deployed assets to clean up the spill, while the Dept of Environment says most of the spill is affecting Singaporean waters.
