Government developing new standards for consumer goods

The government is developing new standards, governing the quality of consumer items, before they are allowed to be sold in Malaysia.
The Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism Ministry says this includes mobile phone batteries, powerbanks, retreaded tires and children's toys.
This will help ensure that only high quality goods are sold here.
