Cabinet approves review of 1st and 2nd class hospital charges

The cabinet has given the green light for the Health Ministry to review some of the charges for 1st and 2nd class patients at government hospitals.
But so far, the ministry has not said which charges will be revised, nor when they will come into effect.
However, it assured that patients who have been enjoying free, subsided health care will not be impacted by the move.
