Selva Kumar back in Malaysia
Feb 07, 2017
Convicted Malaysian serial rapist Selva Kumar Subbiah arrived in the country this morning, after being deported from Canada.
According to reports, he touched down at the KLIA at 7.30 this morning, after which he was taken to the Immigration Operations Centre to have his statement recorded by police.
He was then escorted out of the airport via an alternative exit, to avoid the press.
This, as the Sabah government announced that Selva has been barred from ever entering the state, as he is considered a high risk individual.
He served a 24-year jail term in Canada for drugging and sexually assaulting several women, and Canadian officials said there is a high risk he could re-offend, despite their efforts to rehabilitate him.
