The North Korean embassy has confirmed, that the man who was killed at KLIA2 on Monday, was indeed Kim Jong Nam.
It says the earlier confusion about his identity was because he was travelling using a passport under the name Kim Chol.
Meanwhile, two foreign women, who were arrested over the killing, have been remanded for seven days to assist in the investigation.
The first woman, who was in possession of a Vietnam travel document, was caught at the airport while trying to flee the country yesterday.
The second suspect, who had an Indonesian passport, was detained early this morning.
Meanwhile, the Selangor police chief told The Star, that the taxi driver who was detained to help in investigations, is the boyfriend of the Indonesian woman.
