Cops still hunting for three more suspects over North Korean's death

Feb 22, 2017

Police are looking for 3 more suspects over the death of a North Korean national who was attacked at KLIA2 last week.

IGP Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar says the trio include  the second secretary to the North Korean Embassy in KL, and a staff member of the country's national airline, Air Koryo.

All three are still believed to be in the country.

Meanwhile, Malaysian police have requested assistance from the North Korean embassy to trace another 4 other suspects who had left the country on the day of the attack.

The IGP says they are believed to be heavily involved in the incident, and police want North Korea to hand them over to assist in investigations.
