Special team to probe pastor's abduction

The IGP says police have set up a special task force to investigate last week's kidnapping of a pastor in PJ, Selangor.

Selangor Criminal Investigations Department chief, Senior Assistant Commissioner Fadzil Ahmat, will lead the task force.

Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar adds so far, police have recorded statements from 8 witnesses, and urged anyone with additional info to come forward.

He says the police do not have much leads on the case at the moment, but assured that they will continue investigations.

The case is being investigated under Section 365 of the Penal Code for kidnapping or abducting with intent to secretly and wrongfully confine a person.

Pastor Raymond Koh was reportedly abducted last Monday by a group of masked men on Jalan SS4B/10 Petaling Jaya.

The pastor's family is offering a 100 thousand ringgit reward to anyone who can provide any leads into the incident.
