DPM: we have been professional
Mar 03, 2017
The DPM says Malaysia has been professional in its handling of the high-profile murder of the North Korean man at KLIA2.
Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi told the NST Malaysian authorities have conducted DNA, chemistry and forensic tests to deternine that the deceased died of poisoning by a toxic nerve agent, and North Korea has to respect our professionalism.
Meanwhile, police have issued an arrest warrant for an employee of Air Koryo, who is being sought over the murder.
The cops have also sent a request via Wisma Putra, seeking the assistance of a consular officer with the North Korean embassy here, in connection with the case.
This, as the North Korean suspect who was arrested earlier, was released today due to insufficient evidence, and is now in the process of being deported.
