PM: they are safe.

Mar 08, 2017

The PM assures that the 11 Malaysians who are stranded in North Korea, are safe, and are free to conduct their daily activities.

Nevertheless, Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak says the government is prepared to negotiate with Pyongyang for their safe release, including looking into North Korea's possible demands.

He also says the government has no plans to cut diplomatic ties with the communist state.

This, as the DPM called for the row to be resolved amicably, saying its important the two countries maintain their diplomatic relationship.
