Tan Sri Md Raus Sharif appointed as the new Chief Justice of Malaysia.

Court of Appeal president Tan Sri Md Raus Sharif has been appointed as the new Chief Justice of Malaysia, effective today.
He succeeds Tun Arifin Zakaria who began his mandatory retirement yesterday.
