MOH approves the conditional registration of Dengvaxia.

Apr 07, 2017

The Health Ministry has approved the conditional registration of the world's first dengue vaccine in Malaysia.

Dengvaxia will be allowed to be used in clinical studies in the country for 2 years involving volunteers aged 9 to 45, who will have to pay for the vaccination themselves.

The vaccine will be available in M'sia within the next 6 months, with the study to be conducted jointly between Dengvaxia's French creators and the Malaysian govt.
