Cuepacs wants the govt to raise the basic salaries of civil servants by 3 percent in the 2018 budget.

Jun 21, 2017

Cuepacs wants the govt to raise the basic salaries of civil servants by 3 percent in the 2018 budget.

The raise is hoped to help relieve the burden of 62,000 civil servants in the minimum wage category.

This, as the cost of living has gone up by 8 percent.

It also wants the govt to review several incentives such as the Cost of Living Allowance, Vehicle Allowance and Regional Allowance.
