The Bukit Aman Special Branch Counter Terrorism Division held its first large-scale joint operation yesterday.

The massive anti-terror swoop in Klang Valley saw 409 foreigners arrested.

Those nabbed included terror suspects, those without valid documents and those suspected of illegal activities.

Radioactive monitoring devices were also used for the first time during the operation. 

Nothing suspicious was detected, but authorities are keen to continue using the devices to curb terrorism.
