Boy no longer in critical condition

Sep 02, 2017

The 5-year-old boy, who was seriously injured in an accident involving three cars in Alor Setar on Thursday, is no longer in critical condition.

The boy is still using a ventilator to monitor his spontaneous breathing, but he is in stable condition.

In the incident a man pursued and attempted to overtake a car driven by his ex-wife with their son in it.

It ultimately ended in the woman's car skidding and crashing into a tree while the man lost control of his car and collided with another car.

It's believed that prior to the accident the man quarreled with his former wife over custody of their son.
