The police are willing to help if India submits a request to arrest on-the-run preacher Dr Zakir Naik, who's believed to be in Malaysia.
The IGP told Malay Mail that the enforcement agency has not been instructed to arrest the controversial man so far.
It was recently reported that India wants to ask Malaysia to extradite the preacher, who is accused of heading an illegal association and inciting youth to join terror groups.
