Schools that have been forced to close due to floods have to replace their classes on another day.

Jan 05, 2018

Schools that have been forced to close due to floods have to replace their classes on another day, to ensure the syllabus can be completed in time.

Several schools have been closed over tha past few days, following continuous heavy rain since New Year's Day.

62 schools were shut yesterday - most of them in Pahang.

It's unclear how many of them will reopen today, especially since floods are getting worse in Pahang, with about 10,000 people evacuated.

There are about 2,400 flood evacuees in Terengganu, Johor and Sabah in total.
