IGP Tan Sri Fuzi Harun says Datuk Seri Najib Razak is free to speculate on the competency of DS Amar Singh to take on the 1MDB investigations.

However, he says the police have yet to receive any official request for an explanation. 

This, after DS Najib claimed that the Federal CCID director was not qualified to take on probes related to 1MDB and that his integrity could be disputed.

The former PM has filed a lawsuit against Amar Singh based on those claims.

Separately, the IGP says police will take action against former Sabah CM Tan Sri Musa Aman when he returns to Malaysia.

He says they were informed that Musa is still in the UK.

The IGP adds that no arrangements have been made to sought for Musa there.
