Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor denies purchasing jewellery worth millions from a Lebanese jeweller. 

Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor has denied purchasing jewellery worth 60 million ringgit from a Lebanese jeweler. 

This comes after the company filed a lawsuit at the KL High Court demanding the items be returned, or Rosmah has to pay for them. 

The former first lady's lawyers have insisted the 44 items of jewellery were only sent to Rosmah for viewing, and she didn't buy them. 

New Mavcom chief yet to be appointed

The new Mavcom chief has yet to be appointed, but he or she is already looking at a lower salary than the predecessor. 

Transport Minister Anthony Loke says he has submitted a name to the PM to be considered, and also suggested the pay for the position be reviewed.

The outgoing Mavcom chief reportedly earned 85,000 ringgit a month, 4 times more than what the PM earns.
