UMNO president attends 64th PAS Muktamar
The 64th PAS Muktamar or AGM has kicked off in Kuala Terengganu with the presence of UMNO leaders, led by its president, Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.

The MIC deputy president was another surprise guest.
Meanwhile, in his keynote addres, PAS President Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang said it is now up to the Pakatan Harapan federal govt to decide on the fate of the proposed amendments to the Shariah Courts (Criminal Jurisdiction) Act, also known as Act 355.

Effective 01 Jan 2019, the Penang govt will enforce the compound action against occupants of landed properties who do not separate their waste.

House owners are required to separate the waste into recyclable and non-recyclable types.
A compound of 250 ringgit will be imposed on house owners, who fail to do so.
Customs Dept studying the idea of reducing private jetties in Malaysia
The Customs Dept is studying the possibility of reducing the number of private jetties in the country.

The jetties have been found to be among the main factors for smuggling activities being rampant, especially involving cigarettes and liquor.
