No Malaysians injured
No Malaysians have been reported injured in the wake of super typhoon Mangkhut's landfall in several areas in the Philippines at the weekend.

Wisma Putra, which made the statement yesterday says the situation in the affected areas remains fragile, and advised Malaysians to defer non-essential travel there.
The northern part of Luzon is the most affected area, and Wisma Putra adds that it's closely monitoring the situation.
Down, Down, Down !
Camera and smartphones are the latest items to have their Sales and Service Tax reduced from 10% to 5% beginning yesterday.
The Star quotes Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng as saying that the tax reduction was lowered following requests and appeals from those in the industry.

The Federation of Commercial Photographic Society had earlier said that the implementation of the SST would affect the development of the local sector.
In other news:
The Health Ministry will set up a task force to determine the viability and relevance of the close to 400 Klinik 1 Malaysia's in the country.
Health minister Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad says that the task force will comprise of health officers and ministry staff.

And, Switzerland has asked for Russia to cease any spying activities on its territory, after two suspected espionage cases came to light recently.
The Swiss foreign ministry summoned the Russian ambassador three times this year to raise concerns about the suspected operations.
According to Reuters, the ops allegedly targets organisations based in Switzerland, including a laboratory used to test chemical weapons.
