The next General Election could see 18-year-olds casting their ballots for the first time.
Youth and Sports Minister Syed Saddiq says the Cabinet has agreed to lower the country's minimum voting age from 21 years to 18.

However, it won't be easy as move needs a constitutional amendment.
Syed Saddiq adds the move will empower youths in the country as they will have a direct say in the country's administration.
In GE14, Pakatan Harapan swept into power, helped by a massive wave of support from young voters.
Earlier, PM Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad said he feels Malaysians nowadays are more knowledgeable, and 18-year-olds are wise wnough to help decide their country’s future.

The assets of all cabinet ministers and Pakatan Harapan MPs will be made public for the first time starting next month.
The MACC says it will upload the asset declaration forms on its website after receiving it from the PM's office.

At least 8 people have been rushed to hospital in Sydney, Australia after breathing toxic gasses flowing through a hotel's air conditioning system.
Reports say a hotel cleaning staff mixed pool chlorine with hydrochloric acid, that was used as a cleaning agent.
The reaction caused a release of toxic fumes, which spread throughout the building via the air-cond vents.
