The Transport Ministry is lowering the cost of online driving licence tests by 7 ringgit to just 20 ringgit, starting next year.

This, following a decision to liberalise the present system monopolised by three companies.
Meanwhile, it says that the JPJ is currently studying a proposal to merge car and motorcycle driving tests.
Authorities: we are still not sure - as of now
For now, authorities are still not sure how many Malaysian Facebook users were affected by the recent hacking incident at the social media website.
The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission says so far, it has received 22 complaints about the hacking, via the Personal Data Protection Dept.

It also advises FB users to check that their accounts are only logged in from verifed devices.
Some 50 million users worldwide were affected by the data breach.
In other news:
You'll no longer have to pay the maximum fee for treatment at govt hospitals, if you are referred from private or university hospitals.
The Health Ministry says, it will review a law that forces such patients to pay the first-class rate for treatment.
Critics have slammed the rule as unfair, saying it wrongly assumes that everyone who initially goes for private healthcare can afford the highest rates at public hospitals.

The death toll from last week's earthquake and tsunami in Indonesia's Sulawesi has risen to more than 1,200.
However, the death toll could still rise further, as authorities say they have yet to get official body counts from several surrounding communities.
