Malaysians lost almost 300 million ringgit to cybercrime so far this year!

Telecommunication fraud hit the biggest dent, costing victims over 160 million ringgit. 

The govt said most cybercrime cases were carried out by foreigners, but M'sians are mostly the perpertators when it comes to e-commerce scams.

The Health Ministry has set its sights on eliminating mother-to-child transmission of Hepatitis B

This comes after M'sia was hailed as the first country in the Western Pacific to eradicate mother-to-child transmissions of HIV and Syphilis.

About 1 million people in M'sia are chronically infected with Hep B.

The police have gone on Facebook to remind the public they can lodge reports against neighbours who are always making noise, including revving their motorcycles loudly, as it disturbs public order.

Tun Daim Zainuddin has alleged that Jho Low managed to evade the authorities with the help of moles in the govt!

And Google is shutting down a large part of its social network, Google Plus, after private user data was exposed because of a bug. 

It found the breach affecting 500,000 users back in March, but decided not to reveal it to avoid action from regulators.
