The massive water cut in Selangor could be over sooner than expected!

Syabas's work at the Semenyih Water Treatment Plant is being completed ahead of schedule. 

As such, water supply will resume in stages from 9am today, 24 hours after the water cut started. 

PDRM: we will closely monitor all Tahfiz schools in the country

The police are keeping an eye on all tahfiz schools in the country to stop the spread of IS ideaology.

This comes after 1 tahfiz school in Perlis was found to be involved in terrorist activities.

8 men, 1 of them a local, have been arrested over the case. 

In other news:

72 police officers were sacked in the first 9 months of this year due to several offences, including corruption, abuse of power and criminal activities!

However, the IGP says the number of misconduct cases among cops had dropped significantly compared to last year.

The number of laksa food poisoning cases in Baling, Kedah has risen to 61!

The number of victims spread over Perak, Selangor and Kedah, but all of them reportedly bought their laksa from the same stall in Baling. 

Authorities are unsure what caused the deadly incident which has killed 2 people as far, but assured it's not connected to contaminated iceberg lettuce.

The unemployed man who put his 3-year-old nephew into a washing machine in Rawang as a joke, has claimed trial in court. 

He was charged with recklessly endangering the safety of the toddler.
