The MACC has confirmed it took the statement of UMNO president, Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi's daughter yesterday.

She earlier claimed she was only there to accompany her dad, who was grilled for over 8 hours. 

Zahid will be back at the MACC for a 4th round of questioning today, for allegedly using money from a welfare foundation to pay personal credit card bills. 

Meanwhile, deputy IGP Tan Sri Noor Rashid Ibrahim said the police won't be calling in Zahid for questioning about the 1MDB scandal yet.

She had been staying with her mother at the bus station after her father died, but her mother left her after an argument. 

An NGO has urged anyone with information on the case to go to the nearest police station.
