All 32 polling stations for the PD by election will remain in business till 5.30 pm 

Polling centres for the Port Dickson parliamentary by-election have opened !

All 32 stations will remain in business till 5.30 pm to enable the close to 70 thousand registered voters to exercise their rights.

The Election Commission is targeting a 70 per cent voter turnout in the by-election, and the result of which is expected to be announced by 10 pm.

Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and ex- Negeri Sembilan MB Tan Sri Mohd Isa Samad are among the big names in the seven cornered fight.

The by-election is being held after Datuk Danyal Balagopal Abdullah vacated his seat in Sept to pave the way for Datuk Seri Anwar to contest and return to parliament.

Meanwhile, Port Dickson police are reminding supporters to obey all relevant laws.

It warned that action will be taken against any individual, who makes any provacative moves.

Police also reminded that drones are banned, and action will be taken against those who use them.

UMNO has denied rumours that it's HQ was raided by the ROS and MACC yesterday.

Its executive secretary said the pictures that were widely spread on social media were that of UMNO staff updating and rearranging files at the party’s administration office.
