PD grenade was actually a lighter

The so-called explosive that was spotted at a four-star hotel in Port Dickson was actually a cigarette lighter that looked like a grenade.

The IGP confirmed this, after police detained 5 Syrian tourists and seized the replica grenade in an operation in Cameron Highlands. 

They bought the grenade from a trader near the Army Museum in PD.

According to earlier reports, hotel staff found something resembling a grenade in one of the Syrians' hotel rooms as they were checking out, but could not stop one of them from taking the device and leaving the hotel.
