Pan M'sian Bus Operators Association denies drivers speed to get higher commission
Dec 27, 2016
The Pan M'sian Bus Operators Association has denied there are express bus drivers who speed during trips to get a higher commission.
It explained, the Land Public Transport Commission, SPAD has rules dictating how frequently express bus drivers can travel and also limits the amount of drive-time.
On a suggestion by SPAD to raise the basic salary of drivers to improve passenger-safety, the Association says this will be difficult to achieve as long as the govt does not deregulate the industry.
