A M'sian Anti Corruption Commission officer has been detained for allegedly blackmailing a police officer in Penang.
The 38-year-old had demanded a 3,000 ringgit monthly payment for reportedly looking after his victim, who was working in the Gambling and Secret Society branch.

The MACC has since issued a statement praising the stern action taken by the police, saying it will not tolerate any crime amongst its ranks.
