Tanjung Bungah Landslide: All bodies found
Oct 23, 2017
The last 2 bodies from the Tanjung Bungah landslide in Penang have been found.
This means the death toll from Saturday's tragedy now stands at 11.
Most of the victims were foreigners working at the housing construction site, while 1 of them was M'siian.
Meanwhile, authorities say those who have proof of corruption at the landslide-hit Tanjung Bungah construction site in Penang, should speak up.
The Penang Island Municipal Council has been accused of approving hillslope developments too easily, with hints of corruption.
MBPP has slammed those claims, saying it approved the project after due process.
But the Natural Resources and Environment Ministry has called the entire development unsafe, because it's right next to an active quarry.
