The Johor Palace is not banning children from going out at night

Feb 21, 2017

Claims that the Johor Palace has banned children under 18 from going out without parental supervision after 10pm, are fake.

The Sultan of Johor slammed the rumour on his official Facebook page yesterday, saying he denies and rejects the false statement.

The claims also stated that parents who do not adhere to the order will have to undergo 2 months of counselling.

This comes after an accident in Johor Bahru last Saturday, where 8 underage cyclists were killed and another 8 were injured, while they were out on the roads at 3am.

Meanwhile, 4 of those injured in the incident have been discharged from hospital.

2 others are still in critical condition, and another 2 are undergoing physiotherapy.
