North Korean man linked to Kim Jong-Nam's murder is remanded
Feb 19, 2017
The North Korean man, who was arrested in the investigation into the murder of Kim Jong-Nam, has been remanded for 7 days.
According to reports, he's believed to be a chemistry expert, but it's still too early to conclude if he was behind the liquid poison, that's suspected to have been used in the murder.
He is the 4th person to be arrested so far, the others being a Vietnamese woman, an Indonesian woman and her Malaysian boyfriend.
Meanwhile, the 3 remaining suspects being hunted by the police are believed to have left the country immediately after Jong-Nam's murder at KLIA 2.
CCTV cameras reportedly caught the trio heading to the departure hall, after changing their clothes, to board a flight to a neighbouring country.
On a related matter, a US-based designer is hoping to cash in on Jong-Nam's murder, by selling T-shirts emblazoned with "LOL" in the style worn by his alleged assassin.
