Police obtain Interpol red notice for Kim Jong-nam murder case
Mar 16, 2017
Police have obtained an Interpol red notice, seeking the arrest of 4 North Koreans who are wanted in connection with the Kim Jong-nam murder case.
The 4, who were at the airport when Jong-nam was poisoned, are believed to have fled back to Pyongyang just after the assassination.
This, as the Deputy Prime Minister said the governmment will seek the advice of the Attorney General about what to do with Jong-nam's body, after the deceased's family requested that Malaysia manage his remains.
Meanwhile, the government has yet to start formal negotiations with North Korea over the release of 9 Malaysians stranded in Pyongyang.
The Prime Minister also declined to say exactly when the talks will start.
However, Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak says the stranded Malaysians have nothing to worry about, as their safety there is guaranteed.
