Suspected 11-year-old abuse victim not responding well to treatment

Apr 25, 2017

The 11-year-old boy who was allegedly abused by an assistant warden at a private religious school in Kota Tinggi, is not responding well to treatment to his arm.

Doctors now say the arm may have to be amputed, with a final decision to be made later tonight.

The boy has already lost both his legs due to a bacterial infection, triggered by injuries from the abuse.

Meanwhile, the Permaisuri of Johor wants all students at the school who also claim to have been beaten, to undergo immediate health checks as a precaution.
