Police bust a syndicate that sells Rohingya children

Jun 02, 2017

Police have busted a syndicate in KL, that sells Rohingya children for as little as 1,200 ringgit, for the purpose of begging on the streets.

An operation in the city centre yesterday saw police detain six Myanmar nationals, believed to be the masterminds, while 11 kids between the ages of 10 and 20 were also rescued.

Police are now on the hunt for the begging syndicates who buy these children.
