SPAD to hold talks with ride-hailing operator

The Land Public Transport Commission will be holding discussions with a ride-hailing operator, to better ensure the safety and security of passengers. 

This, following the case of a woman who was allegedly robbed at knifepoint by a driver and his accomplice. 

Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Seri Nancy Shukri says although the case falls under the purview of the police, SPAD will also be taking steps of its own to address the issue.
