Covered pedestrian walkways in KL gazetted as smoke-free zones
May 18, 2017
All covered pedestrian walkways and bridges, and pedestrian underground tunnels across KL, have been gazetted as smoke-free zones.
KL City Hall says the ruling, which came into effect last month, will see offenders liable to a 10 thousand ringgit fine or a maximum 2 year jail term.
It adds there are currently some 140 covered pedestrian walkways in KL, with the number to rise over time.
