20 people still in critical condition after Manchester bombing
May 24, 2017
20 people remain in critical condition, following yesterday's Manchester Arena bombing.
7 out of the 22 people who died have been publicly identified, including an 8-year-old girl.
Meanwhile, authorities say the 22-year-old UK-born suicide bomber, was known to authorities, and is believed to have traveled to Syria after becoming radicalized.
UK police have arrested 3 people, although they've not provided any details.
This means 4 people are now in custody over the incident, including, reportedly, the brother of the suicide bomber.
British investigators are still unable to rule out if the suicide bomber acted alone or was part of a network.
The security level, in the meantime, has been raised to 'critical', which means further attacks may be imminent.
Up to 3,800 troops could be deployed to key locations in the UK, as a precaution.
Meanwhile, members of the public have raised thousands of pounds for a group of homeless people, who helped several of the victims in the immediate aftermath of the bombing.
Internet users have also raised more than 750 thousand pounds, to help those affected by the tragedy.
