No Malaysians involved in car bomb attack in Turkey

Dec 18, 2016

The Malaysian Embassy in Ankara, Turkey has confirmed that no Malaysians were involved in the car bomb attack in Kayseri.

This, after more than a dozen people were killed and over 50 others were injured in the attack on the city, which is located some 300 kilometers away from the capital.

Wisma Putra says the Embassy will continue to communicate with Turkish authorities and Malaysian citizens there, especially students studying in Kayseri.

It has also reminded all Malaysians, who are in Turkey or planning to visit the country, to always be careful and get regular updates from Wisma Putra's website.
