Girl whose foot turned black did not get the condition from milk

The Health Ministry says the 12-year-old girl whose foot turned black did not get the condition from milk consumed at her school in Segamat, Johor.

Reports show she was already infected with bacteria long before she was admitted to hospital.

The girl's foot turned black due to gangrene infection after she recovered from a coma, and her parents were advised to amputate her leg.
